For some AMREP customers, an outsourced supply subcontractor
station overseas may be its key supplier. Unless your supplier
is an established company like Quanta, Asus, or Creative Technology,
your suppliers, particularly those in China or Mexico, will
always have quality problems. These problems
have a negative impact on your marketing and customer satisfaction.
It will increase your quality costs. To minimize supplier
quality problems, AMREP has a China based team of specialists
who can work with your critical Chinese suppliers. Our
Six Sigma Team will:
- Identify the Critical Supplier/Customer
critical issues
- Function as the Customer
Quality Leader and represent customer needs
- Work on specific process
or supplier quality issues
- Work with and train the
Supplier personnel
- Focus on process and quality
improvements
- Work towards reducing defects
variations
The primary objective is to reduce the supplier’s defects
which impact on the quality costs of a customer and upgrade
the supplier to be an approved preferred long-term reliable
supplier.
