As the Customer Quality Representative AMREP monitor the supplier’s
production and quality actions. We send in quality representatives
who know the products, inspect
the lot, troubleshoot the problem, and then go into problem
solving with the supplier. If the supplier
is not hostile and co-operative AMREP can get the supplier
to fix the quality problem. AMREP acts as the customer’s
‘Remote Eyes and Ears”
, identifying potential supplier quality or technical problems
that may be caused by:
- Unexpected delivery delays
due to components or parts delay
- Use of components and parts
not approved by customers
- Changes in BOM or failure
to conform to ECN
- Providing supplier with
alternative components or parts suppliers
